The Snooker Club has many social snooker competitions such as :-

1. Handicap half frame competition every Friday night commencing at 7:30pm
2. Handicap Golden Oldies competition every Wednesday afternoon commencing at 12:30pm.
3. Golden Oldies v The Rest competition
4. Interclub social competitions with Twin Towns, Sherwood Services Club and Redcliffe RSL

Intraclub Competitions

Every year the Redlands RSL Snooker Club stages their Club Championships and Handicap Competitions in both snooker and billiards.

The Club Championships comprise:

A Grade Snooker Championship
B Grade Snooker Championship
C Grade Snooker Championship
Billiards Championship
Redlands Open Snooker Competition
Redlands Handicap Snooker Competition
Handicap Singles Snooker Competition
Handicap Doubles Snooker Competition
Handicap Billiards Competition
Handicap Combined Billiards and Snooker Competition

These competitions are run during the year with all the finals being held on one very entertaining weekend in October. Trophies are presented to the winners and runners-up at our Christmas Party in November.

Interclub Competitions

In 2006 we have 8 snooker teams competing in the Queensland Billiards and Snooker Association Interclub Competition made up of:

One "Phonestar" Premiership League
One A Grade Team
Three B Grade Teams
One C Grade Team
One D Grade Team
One E Grade Team

And for the Interclub Billiards Competition in 2005 we had
One A Grade Team
One B Grade Team
One C Grade Team
One D Grade Team

Results

We have had great success over the years as is evident from the array of pennants the Club has won and proudly display in the Snooker Room.

In 2003 we achieved 2 Premierships in A Grade and B Grade Snooker, a Minor Premiership in C Grade Snooker and out of our 8 Snooker Teams only one finished out of the finals. In Billiards our B Grade team won the premiership. As a result our Snooker Club was awarded the "Club of the Year Trophy"

Major Competitions

Apart from Interclub and Intraclub competitions, there are other major competitions held during the year, such as:

1. The RSL Club Snooker Challenge with prizemoney in excess of $4,500.00 is held as a part of the Redlands Spring Festival. Proudly sponsored by The Good Guys, this competition is open to all snooker players. This competition attracts entries from all over South Queensland and Northern New South Wales and last year one entry was from as far away as Tamworth in New South Wales.
2. Senior Citizens Competition, held as an event of Senior Citizens Week, is open to all snooker players over the age of fifty on 30 June. This has a total prizemoney of $1,800 and is always well supported.
3. RSL Cup is a competition with $250.00 prizemoney open to all RSL Snooker Club members. The prizemoney is donated by Redlands RSL Club.
4. Mayor's Cup is open to all Snooker Club members. The trophy was proudly donated by the Mayor of Redland Shire Council.
5. Eddie Santaguiliana Memorial Cup is open to all Snooker Club members. The trophy was proudly donated by the Late Mayor of Redland Shire Council.

All the above competitions are subject to handicapping to ensure that every player has an equal chance at winning.
